Your words can change the world

Image
I'm speaking to you, yes, you: I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone. As for me I want to do something so big it's destine to fail without You Lord, something so great it's gonna take a miracle to do. How about you? I want to be like Peter who walked on water! I hear God saying "Diana, get out of the boat!" For me my faith is all or nothing! By believing I have nothing to loose so I am all in. Our Lord tells us that "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Proverbs 18:21. Which words will you chose? The positive words of life or the negative words of death? Those negative words are the ones that steal, kill and destroy life. The power of your life is in your words, so speak them well and give life by speaking them well of others too. Be an encourager. Be a life giver. Be a game changer. Think about those things and let it inspire you. You matter and you can make all the difference in how yo

America is important to God. Israel gave us Jesus, but this is His Land and this is why

This year has been a difficult one for all of us and really an ugly year to so many. We've lost a lot. And here in the midst of the political environment some people are saying we Christians shouldn't be talking about such things. But something I want to bring to your attention is this: America is important to God. This is His land. Israel gave us Jesus, but our founding fathers were very specific when they sought out and stepped foot on this land and dedicated this country to Him. This is the very reason they came in search of this Amercia. This is why so many of us remain standing on those promises made to God and His promises to us. Think about that as you pray and feel that hope rise up in you. God never forgets and neither should we. Our words have power, power of life and death, positive and negative (Proverbs 18:21). Convanants and committments have always held great meaning to God. He never changes nor goes back on His Word. He keeps His promises and committments. H

Side Roads in Life can Have Plenty of Site Seeing Lessons

No one can say that this year has been their best. It seems if you begin to describe your tough year you feel this rising up in yourself realizing you are preaching to the choir because no one has had an easy year. As I have attempted to move forward in my life with many plans this year hasn't been easy by any means. But I realize that as much as we want to move on with our lives into new adventures and opportunities after we have decided to recover from setbacks, God still has some unexpected plans for us. He may call us to do some other things. We don't realize this and often we mistaken those times as distractions that are causing us to fail Him or Satan attacking us to keep us off the course we know we need to travel. We look at these things as getting in our way, but that isn't always the case. If we answer God's call we will once again find ourselves back on our path we had been traveling as well, but there will always be some side roads God wants us to take

Prepare to Show the World Who You Are

I work in a truck shop. Most recently I must admit I kinda feel a little bit like Amy a manager on the show "Super Store" who each day wears a name tag other than her true name. Going on my third year in my job I decide I need FRC's because I am working more in the shop and I have always went out into the field. My shirts will soon be in with my real name on them, but for now, it's kinda fun being Henri and I think it's been fun for the guys to call out for Henri because it always brings a smile to their faces. Even  my Boss Man (husband) has been amazed and has enjoyed my courage and strength to step up. He's been awesome to encourage and compliment me daily about how proud he is of me. The downturn off the oilfield hit us pretty hard and even after those hits I was laid off 6 months of 2016. It broke my heart, for it wasn't just my job that was gone it was the lifestyle of waking up each day and sharing my complete day alongside my husband

Know How To Restfully Fight Life's Battles

Image
We can be so much stronger than we believe ourselves to be and yet it takes less on our part than we think.  We do not have to exhaust ourselves but rest in our Lord. Evil is ever so present in our world and we do not always know how to battle the issues and the people that we are up against. And yet in Ephesians 6:12 it tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."Therefore we must put on our armor of God and fight the good fight and be the light of the world. We must allow our God to have vengence. God tells us to hold every thought captive for a really important reason. Here is why: we are light. And we get this light from our God who is full of goodness. So the more light we put in the stronger we are to stand against the evil. Our light is bright. Satan uses people to do his work as well, even good godly people. See this

God Wants You. You and Your Past Are More Than Enough

A few years ago when I was talking to someone about some things that I didn't quite understand about my life and I was feeling sad, this person really helped bring revelation to understanding of what I was going through, what I didn't realize. She said that it sounded like I keep trying to earn my salvation. It was a shocking revaluation but that is exactly what I was trying to do. I was always striving to be better at everything and I was tired, disappointed and headed for a nervous breakdown. She said why are you working so hard at what you already have? Jesus Christ already paid the price of my sins and gave me the gift of eternal life. I have salvation. And its a gift and God gave it to me. Why do I keep working so hard at trying to earn it?  I think it was for me like it is for so many of you. I kept blaming myself, I had not forgiven myself. I used to think God was always mad at me. I was just such a disappointment to Him. I felt I would have to always be earning H
