As Promised, Visuals from my Podcast Just for You!

In a couple of my podcast especially the third one entitled "War Room"  I talk about my garden.  So I wanted to give you a visual to go with my story, to go with sharing my experience with you.  I spoke about how I feel since my sweet farmer/gardening Daddy is living in Heaven now and that he just may have passed down his green thumb on down to his children. And then here in West Texas lately we've got a whole lot of that good Jesus rain water. I think Daddy put in a good word for us. This garden has been some of the best therapy for me since loosing my Dad. I know so many of us have lost loved ones and other things which are important to us and we need something to invest ourselves in for it helps us in moving forward and most of us do not even realize this. It's a tribute to whom or what we lost because we must rise no matter how slowly from the ashes. And that is the beauty in it.

I also talk about how I had this very special visitor who came to see me in my garden.  So come listen to my podcast and hear about these pictures I have for you here. I want you to hear it,  not read it.

My garden area was once my grandson's play fort that we extended and made a fully enclosed chicken coop/yard. The bottom play area we enclosed and made a coop with nesting boxes for the chickens. It now serves as a potting/tool shed and as you will see those nesting boxes sure come in handy too. I share this property with my dog Hank who owns the top condo so he can oversee his kingdom and patrol over our tall privacy fence. You will find his picture as well.

In my garden I have used containers, blocks, constructed wooden boxes to plant my garden in and any areas I could. It was my first year at this particular garden so I am journaling about what to do ahead of time, what things to do differently and things to remember to do that I just may get too busy and forget to do.  I am learning to compost.

I hope what I share about my garden inspires you to dive into the things you enjoy and inspire you jump into it. Just get started and you will find yourself doing it.  I know there are some of you out there who definitely could share your story with me as well. Together, we can heal. - Diana Hudgins
